Policies

Pickup

Custom order cake and cupcake pickups are at your own risk! Orders  need to be placed in a flat space, the floor, trunk or back of an SUV,  not on a seat! Cake Art is not responsible for any damage incurred to the cakes or cupcakes after the leave our premises. We box and package your order with care and are more than happy to help you to your vehicle to ensure safe placement. Upon arriving at your location, your cake needs to be refrigerated until 1 hour before your event or serving. Cupcakes can stay in a cool place for several hours before serving.

We require a min 1 week notice on specialty cakes. 

Cancelation Policy

Order and Cancelation Policy

A 33% deposit is required to secure your order and event date. Cake Art is only
able to take a limited number of cake/cupcake orders for per week. Because we
may have declined other orders in order to secure your place, deposits are
always non-refundable.
Many decorations for your cake will need to be made in advance to give enough
time for drying. We requires 72 hours (3 days) notice in order to cancel any
custom order.

Refund Policy
No Cash Refunds- Store Credit Only


Wedding Cakes
The deposit for wedding cakes is always non-refundable because it holds the
date for you and prevents us from taking other wedding cake orders. We will
give you a copy of your contract at the time of booking your wedding cake. Your
deposit will book the date and guarantee we will be making your cake on that
day, the final count and balance is due 2 weeks before the wedding. If
cancellation is requested 1 month prior to the event any amount above the
deposit can be refunded as store credit only.


Changed Date
Because we cannot guarantee that we will be able to move your order to the new
desired date, these requests are handled on a case by case basis. As long as at
least 1 month notice is given, we will make our best effort to accommodate the
request. This credit can be used towards future custom orders only. (No cash
refunds).


Specialty Cakes
If cancellation is requested 1 month or more prior to order date, all of your
order deposit will be returned to you as store credit only. This credit can be
used towards future custom orders or cupcakes.
If cancellation is requested within 72 hours (3 days), half of your
order deposit will be returned to you as store credit only. This credit can be
used towards future custom orders only.
If cancellation is not requested within 72 hours (3 days), no partial credit will be
received. Sorry, no exceptions.
You will not need to pay the remaining balance on your order unless the cake is
already completed.
